I have installed LOD and am now having some major problems. When I play D2 (actually playing, not chatting on b.net) I will randomly get a beeping sound, the sound made when an error message appears. When this happens, my comp immediately locks up. It seems to me that I am getting an error message, but I can't read whatever the message says because my screen freezes and the comp locks up. I don't know how to even attempt to fix the problem because, since I can't see what the error message says, I have no idea what the problem is.
Also, D2 and some other programs (like the Sims) have been randomly crashing to the desktop without even displaying any kind of error message. This seems to be happening less and less with D2 as I keep getting the lockup problem stated above. Please help!
