LoD lockups since 1.09c

Got the 1.09c patch while using daemon tools, fixed that "lockup on joining game" problem by deleting daemon. Now I just lock up randomly, yay!
After a week and 2 e-mails to blizzard's tech support, I've done it all ... from re-installing d2 to wiping my hard drive clean and starting over as if the comp had just been built, to no avail. This is total lockup, can't minimize or exit to restart, have to reset my machine.
Upon reflection it happens most often with my (non-summoning) necro on useast realm ... I am behind a netgear router and connected via cable modem ... seems like useless detail but who knows, I suppose it could be an item-related bug.
~Insight, anyone? ~All was fine before 1.09c ... very stable. Now I can't run it at all with windows 98 and have to use win2000 to even get a chance to play a bit. :(
BTW, I have 2 copies of LoD, and 3 comps. All were fine before 1.09c and all are messed up now.
 
OK I have found a household with the same problem as I ... All we have in common seems to be that we both are on a network setup (using a router and connected to the net via broadband)

Is perhaps some code blizz uses to prevent cheating/duping messing with legit gamers as well? Each household has multiple CD-keys so that 2 may play on bnet at once.
Just a theory ...
 
Do you have the same external IP for both machines? If so, it might be because battle.net only allows one connection per IP. (I don't know if they do, so it seems strange)
 
Not sure, cloudberry. But, since the problem began I have had only 1 comp *trying* to use the game, it has been uninstalled on the others.

    I have two salmon, Sockeye and Atlantic. Atlantic is used for the kids salmon and the salmon and beet salad, and can also be added onto any dish or just as a side. Atlantic salmon will almost exclusively ever be FARMED, as it is endangered in the wild, and we ALWAYS cut them to 4 ounces.

    SOCKEYE salmon, very different and this IS wild caught. We have an ENTREE version, and an add on version. The entree is 7 ounces, the add on is 4. Why? Because that is how someone that wasn't me set up the computer.

    Let alone trying to figure it out from a wildly stressed out me that is also on a phone call trying to get something to show up from Seattle tomorrow while trying to explain this salmon situation, that also is barely solved in maybe a few hours and and but I am bulking it with a few steelhead filets I have and that is a WHOLE fucking different thing to the 19 year old server that got put on day shift C crew that doesn't know who I am.

    All in all though I think this summer is going really well. Some complicated things, but at the end of the day it isn't THAT big of a deal. Not all of our servers have quite realized they are technically sales

    Like yeah it is a substitute, but FOMO. Chef isn't getting this again this year, he has to figure it out, so it's slightly off on the menu, but that is more or less the LOWEST quality and price. Right now, steelhead is a real stealhear, right?

And then the girls can bat their eyes and do pretty girl server shit
