lod shutting down

ok its only happenend 3 times so far but lod just keeps shutting off. i was in the middle of the game and it just exits.also when it shuts off it dosent come up with any error, just plain shits off

Is there an "Error" folder in your Diablo II directory ? If so, open up the .err file in NotePad and copy-paste the first few lines here. Don't bother posting all the coding.

ok fine i admit it....................this started happening right after i downloaded a color hack....could this be a problem..and if it caused me a trojan virus what would i do to get rid of it?

no there was no error folder...

Yes, the color hack could very well be the problem. The creator probably did indeed plant a trojan to trace your password and steal your character items.

Delete the hack. Get a firewall like Sygate Personal Firewall. Scan your computer for viruses here. Change your password or create a new account. Do not download any 3rd party programs for Diablo II again.
