I recently recieved a unprotected copy of Enfo's TE. And something about the choosing heroes triggers seems odd to me. It's pretty standard hero choosing trigger. When you select a hero you get 250 gold. When you pick a random hero, you get 250 gold, plus a pot of healing. What I don't get is how he coded it.
Event-Unit come within 80.00 of circle of power gen <xxx>
Condition- Unit equal to heroselector
Action- Creat hero for owner of triggering player at start region.
(This is what i don't get)
IF FlagRandom = true
Create item potion for last created hero in inv
ELSE
Do nothing
(Then some more hero stuff)
Thats for every individual hero selection trigger. He has a separate trigger for the 4 random circles of power that will spawn a random hero. And this trigger SET flagrandom=true.
Couldn't I delete the whole IF/THAN function in each individual trigger, and still have the same effect. Then put the creat healing pot part in just the random trigger. If so would it be worth it to save the space, and possible loading time of them map. Enfo's take a long time to load, and anything I can do would be helpful.
