Main Menu Screen Does Not Fully Load

After selecting run when the game opens, I can see the intro's but sound is choppy, and after that, sometimes the main menu window either doesn't load, or barely loads at all. is this a problem with my video card (a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400) or my sound card (Sound Blaster AWE64). Please help.

If you need more information I will try to give it.

I also just downloaded the 1.4 Patch, and put in a new sound card, Creative EMU10K1 Audio Processor (WDM), but the main menu screen will not load. what am i doing wrong? please help me.

latest drivers for the video card
and try updating chipset drivers for the mainboard

thats the thing, i have installed three different drivers, each one the latest one, and nether haved fixed the problem. My friend when he gave me the Video Card, said that it should work fine, could the game be a defecctive? i dont know what else to do, have a freind comeing over with his game, hope to have it working.

Game didn't work, think it has something to do with the cpu, stupid thing maxs out when i load it.

Just an update for anyone, i put all my hardware into a 550 processor and the game ran, but was really slow, so i figured that the problem with the 733 was that the motherboard was shot, or all 733 dont work with the game.

have my dads friend testing the game on one of his 733 just as a final check.
