make a backup

I know this will sound suspicious, and most likely get some people angry, but I have to ask...I have a nasty habit of having accidents that involve broken CDs. I am wondering if anyone found a way to make a working copy of the LOD disk. I honestly jsut want to make a backup that I can use and not have to go buy another disk or go crying to blizzard when I break it.I can post my email if anyone is able to respond but doesnt' want to on a public forum. I do want to add, I am a programmer myself, and I understand the concern for pirated software firsthand...

as a programmer you shouldbe aware of programs like clone cd .

there is not much to add to this topic . you can copy d2 as much as you want but only the correct cd key gives you access to battlenet.

that's what i like about cd keys . i have alot of customers who are playing games wich are copied and like it so much they decide to buy the orginal just for the cd key so they can play multi hehe
