making abilities system need help

hi i was wondering how to make a system like this.

- i have a house that has 3 houses inside so when i make the house i can choose between passive, offensive, and defensive skills. what i wanted is when i research a skills from defense house my hero would learn the skill and he would level it normaly by himself. from offensive house i wanted to research the skills with wood like every hero lvl gives the player 1 wood that u can spend on the skills that are at offensive academy and target them to a spellbook that i made on the hero "defensive and passive skills". researching passive skills with gold and target them to go on "passive" spellbook inside "defensive and passive" spellbook. i have the spellbooks done both work fine i just need the triggers or jass or something.

-defensive is to make the hero learn max of 3 skills after that it makes every other skill invisible so u can only pick 3
-offensive u can research only 4 skills max out of 10 the rest gets invisible after hero getting the 4th on the spellbook
-passive u can researh only 4 skills max out of 11 the rest gets invisible after hero getting the 4th on the spellbook inside the spellbook

i have the skills on the houses and i have the hero with a (spellbook and onother inside him like i said)

can someone help me out?

Have you learned how to create triggers or write your own JASS code?

I suspect most people haven't replied to this thread because what you're asking is relatively simple, but impossible without any numeric item or spell identifiers.

If you still need help with this let me know, and we'll see what we can do.

you can enable and disable abilities for players, give the hero all abilities you want it to be able to learn, at map init disable all of those abilities for all players, then when the hero buys the ability enable the ability for the player
Trigger:
  • Player - [Enable or disable] [Ability] for [Player]

Why? You can give the heroes abilities in the same manner when they 'train' them from a shop.

And allow them rank-ups without revisiting the shop? i believe thats what he is asking, and if i am correct thats the only way to actually make it like that

Abilities can be added at any time. During Init, or upon purchase, it doesn't matter. They will still be trainable and rankable.

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
