Making ramps...

im new to world editor and helper net but i have a question about placing ramps on maps. I have this map where there is level and and then a square of shallow water. I want to put a ramp going into the shallow water but it wont let me. BTW, can normal units(ie not naga) walk in shallow water? thnx for help...

yes... normal units can walk in shallow water.. about the ramp part i dunno... it won't let u place it? because you should be able to place it..

if the small square is too small, it wont let you.. it has to be at least 3x3 squares to make a ramp, with 3x3 you can also make it into an entire pool, you just ramp all the edges

Have you tried holding Shift while you are placing it?
If that doesnt work go to the object editor, Destrucs., Ramp (yours), find something that looks like Editor - Placable on Water. If thats false change it to true.
