Making units into towers... help?

can some1 help me making units into towers? pzl..
when I test my map and try to build a rifleman as building it just stop building! plz help me!

Your builder probably needs the 'Repair' ability, if hes human.

To make towers, its best to make a new custom unit based off of a guard tower and change projectile art, projectile arc, projectile speed, damage, cooldown etc.

Ya ur right you have 2 make a unit bassed on a tower or somthing and change the things he metioned. I'm makin a td right now and I ran into that problem

just set movement speed of o unit to 0 and then they will face the rite direction when they attack unlike most buildings...

Cuz then you can't build them. They have to be buildings for a traditional TD.

Otherwise no builder.

Or

Some kind of elaborate building scheme. But if you have 87 towers, you'll also need 87 dummy units, and 87 triggers.

The only time I've ever seen a problem when the BUILDING RACE does not match the BUILDER race.

Human buildings need a human worker, to sit and build.

Undead and NE do not.

There is something in the unit editor called Stats - Is a building

you should have it set to be targeted as a structure.
