Mana Limit

This is probably newbish but I am trying to make a trigger/find property to give a unit max mana. I want my unit to never get more than 100 total mana nomatter what.

Do a periodic check, if that unit has too much mana, lower it to 100?

But I don't know if it works with the mana giving items though.

Stats - Mana initial amount (upon being built/created)
Stats - Mana Maximum

note that if it's a hero I'm not sure if mana maximum will cap it, you'll need to trigger it if not

maybe ill try a real intergers or something
unit has greater than 100mana set mana to 100 but that wouldnt deduct the mana max it owuld just use 100 mana up.

Condition: Unit mana is greater than 100 (unit mana can be found in the Real data types)

Action: Set mana for triggering unit to 100

only problem with that is thats not MAX mana, my hero works like a warrior and gains mana by doing certain things and loses mana per second, ill check into it though.

if it's a hero, then set it to initial mana 10, and give it 6 intelligence, and set intelligence per level to 0.

Then it will stay at mana 100 at all times, unless you give the hero an ability or item that increases it, or have them use a tome.

of course for heroes you can have the 'mana for intelligence per level' set to 0 in Gameplay Constants.
