Manipulating Items

Is it possible to change the name and icon for an item? Or for that matter, a unit?
 
Just use the object editor (F6). Look for the field "Stats - Name".
 
Same mistake I made earlier...

What I meant is, is it possible to change the stats (name, icon, ability) of an item INGAME, with triggers?
