Marine - Art Icon File

I cant find the Marine Icon... but i can find the Marine Model... dont i have the icon, or is it using another name?

The marine was an add in and not really complete.

There is no icon. His icon is the rifleman.

And no matter how hard you try, the marine sound set doesn't work that great for other units. In fact, its not even on the sound set pull down list. You have to copy-paste it.

His machine gun sound is hard wired to his model, so it can't be used for other units (same with gyrocopter).

You can probobly find an icon... or... make one. He doesn't look like a 'real' soldier though, unless thats what you want.

Im trying to make a Marine hero... how can i add sound effects, then?

As long as you use the marine model, its fine. It will work. Copy paste the soundset from the marine, cuz you can't pick it from the list.

They didn't quite offend you… What most people said about the icon was slightly pejorative, but not quite petulant.

Well so far, its "cheap", "cut and paste", and "way over rated".

When you import these.... you MUST change the path to a custom path.

ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNMarine.tga
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNMarine.tga

Then you can pick them in the object editor. Use them as TGA files, just like they are.

No matter where you put the original icon, the game will look in ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\ for the DIS button to match it
