Marine Icon Found!

HAHA I'm a genius. I have found the marine icon and YES it does exist. Go to any units icon path and change the units name in the path to "marine" and there it is.

did you find that by looking through war3.mpq ? or guessing ?

I was thinking about it, and I was searching through the list of icons for marine and couldn't find it so I just used the icon path and put in marine. I then remembered about the other threads about there not being a marine icon and decided to psot it.

The Marine icon is the same as the Rifleman icon, unless this has been updated recently.

is an icon of a marine

I think they added that one one of the updates, because theres no better reason why they didn't assign it to the marine to start with.

Well to my knowledge, updates only affect war3patch.mpq, war3.mpq and war3x.mpq are never modified.

why not just pick a unit in the unit editor and enter

ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNMarine.blp

in the Art - Icon - Game Interface field? takes like 10 seconds.
