Marvel Anime is a four-part anime project with collaborations from both Marvel Entertainment and Madhouse. The project will take famous Marvel characters and reintroduce them for a Japanese audience in a 12-part series.

Ironman​

Iron Man (?????? Aian Man?) is the first show of the series with 12 episodes. The series is being directed by Yuzo Sato with Warren Ellis writing the story. It is known from the official released trailers that this version of Tony Stark becomes Iron Man as an adult, the same as in the comics and recent movie version, as opposed to the Iron Man: Armored Adventures animated series where Stark is a teenager. A special preview ran on Animax on September 25, 2010, before the series began airing on October 1, 2010, and ended on December 17, 2010. It will air on G4 sometime in 2011.[9]

Basically copy and pasta from wikipedia. My friends who are both really into anime told me about how great this anime was and why I am currently watching it. I also think that madhouse is a great anime studio and they brought out some really great animes and I suggest you watch all of the revisions of the heroes. Because as we know, every anime that is made in Japan is instantly made awesome.

I see Marvel doing Anime/Manga as kind of an ironic redundance. I mean, Manga is technically Japanese versions of comic books, right? Marvel does American comic books. Cartoons are made from those comic books. Now they're doing Japanese comic books, which cartoons are made from?

Don't get me wrong; I'm not AGAINST the idea. I love Manga, I love Marvel. I just find it ironic. And somewhat hilarious.

i dont think marvel is letting the japanese manga writers re-write their comics as manga, i think its only anime, i see your point, after reading through it a couple times >_>

I never said that Marvel was letting anyone re-write their stories, just that it was funny they're being re-made into comics of another origin.

In the end it's not about the style, YOU STUPID PEOPLE, it's about the STORY and the CHARACTERS! No matter how you re-draw boring comics, they will still be fundamentally boring. As long as it is clear what is what, visuals aren't important. I bet if they redrew Evangelion or Fullmetal Alchemist manga into Western style (80's style), the fan base would remain. What made Evangelion or FMA popular was the story and the characters. Which is why I'd still watch the original Star Wars episodes and ignore the prequels.

God, my brain hurts when I see people doing it wrong.

EDIT: Unless, of course, it is generating some additional profit on gullible teenagers' love for Japanese content.

    Actually I was just playing with having some kind of mention of the food forum and recipes on the main page to test and see if it would engage some of those people to post something. It is just weird to get so much traffic and no engagement

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that

    Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings

    And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that

    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
