max mana?

Hey everyone, quick question. I'm trying to make a hero always have 100 mana maximum regardless of his intel stat. There's an option for [Stats - Mana Initial Amount] and [Stats - Mana Maximum]. Not sure what the point of [Stats - Mana Maximum] is cause even if I set that at 100, his mana exceeds it as he gains intel.

How can I limit the maximum amount of mana this hero has?

u can change it map editor: advance - game play constance


look for : hero attribute: manna points per lvl

Thanks for the help, but I should have been more clear :banghead: . I want every hero to gain mana normally except a specific one. Can I limit the mana for just one hero?

this is sorta a cheat way to do it and wont look the best but it should be functional

Limit Max Mana
Events
Time - Every 2.00 seconds of game time
Conditions
Actions
Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units of type Footman) and do (Actions)
Loop - Actions
If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
If - Conditions
(Mana of (Triggering unit)) Greater than 100.00
Then - Actions
Unit - Set mana of (Triggering unit) to 100.00
Else - Actions

also maybe if you have the initial mana below 100 so the hero wont start out with more than 100 it might limit it, im not sure.

I tried this suggestion too, but it doesn't work. I guess the only way to do it is the trigger method.
