COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (AP) — A 15-year-old boy was charged with murder Sunday in the shooting deaths of his parents and two younger brothers in their suburban Baltimore home.

Nicholas Waggoner Browning was charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of his father, John Browning, 45; his mother Tamara, 44; and his brothers Gregory, 13, and Benjamin, 11. He was charged as an adult.

Browning was arrested at 1:05 a.m. Sunday after he admitted to the killings, Baltimore County Police spokesman Bill Toohey said.

The teen had not been getting along with his father, police said in a news release. On Friday night, he went into the house after other family members were asleep and shot each of them using his father's handgun, which was in the house, police said.

God [and most of the older members here] knows I don't get along with my parents, either.

I don't go playing "Shoot 'Em Up" with a handgun, though.

Good that they charged him as an adult.

The parents have some fault though, for keeping a loaded weapon at the reach of a minor.

Yeah, but they're also dead so you can't really charge them of any kind of negligence. But the kid was 15, so it would make sense if he had been told where the gun was in case of a break-in when he was home alone.

I didn't read the entire article because I really don't care that much, but did it say that the gun was loaded? I mean, if it was then yeah the parent's are stupid. But they aren't exactly hard to load... you just shove the clip in and pull the action back.

No, it was loaded, he just show them with the gun.
/sarcasm

If I see I have problems with my kid, and there's a gun with bullets in the same house, I won't let him know where it is, or even that I have it.

Trying to save themselves from thieves? Appearantly they needed protection from their son.

Having a strong no-gun-control stance,

Its' events like these which make me question my views.

Maybe the average family isn't resposnible enough to own a gun...

which is why many countries have made it a lot harder to buy a gun in their land

Well I don't think that they always were having issues with each other, and you don't even have to show a kid where you keep a gun because they'll probably figure it out anyway. I mean, my family always had guns and they never showed me where they were, or really even told me that we had any, but I was aware of them, and it's not that hard to figure out how to shove some bullets or the magazine into it.
And it's not a very common event where a kid shoots his family because he's mad at them, so even if they were disliking each other why would you just jump to the conclusion that if the kid can get a gun he'll shoot you? In hindsight it's easy to find little errors that you think you wouldn't make, but when it's actually in the present time it's a little different.

we have 3 or so guns in our house at the moment, my younger brothers (11 and 14) onyl know fo a shotgun, they dont touch it but my dad also keeps a handgun which he's onl told me about around the house as well. sometihngs wrong with todays youth

I don't think teenagers, or anyone, go to shooting their parents from being normal. They show some remorse first, and it shows. Loading a gun is pretty easy but, I guess either way if the kid really wanted to get rid of his parents, he would have done it one way or another.

Yeah, this generation sucks. When we're all seniors, we'll be badass though... listening to rock music and wearing baggy clothes, maybe still have the emos... it'll be fun!

Come on, We all know that we sometimes want to kill your parents
but really... Was this really necessary?

See you could just dream that you kill them, and you think they are dead ^^ and really there alive

So Everyone Wins ^^ Yay! -_-'

Maybe we should make a system like the angry letters that you don't send. Instead... you get paintballs or something and shoot them to pretend their dead, then when no one brings food home you realized you're f*cked and THEN they come back.

My Xbox account got hijacked, and apparently I have a different one from like 10 years ago that Microsoft keeps telling me is the right one
  • Varine Varine:
Like NO, I mean for some reason that one is attached to my email, but it's not the right one
  • Varine Varine:
I have a different one, and that one has my credit card attached to it and I would like that credit card to not be attached to it if I can't get it back
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway Microsoft is not very helpful with this, they just keep telling me to fill out the Account Recovery form, but that just redirects me to the other account
  • The Helper The Helper:
They should not allow you to put a credit card on a account that does not have human customer service you can call
  • Varine Varine:
That's the only thing that got hijacked at least. I don't totally know how these integrate together, but it seems like I should be able to do this via the gamertag. Like my email is still mine, but they changed the email to that account I'm guessing.
