This is a small and compact program that can convert MDX warcraft model files, into MDL Model files, and vice versa.

It includes MdxLib.dll written by Magos. Please report any bugs you have found. Requires .NET Framework 2.0

It doesn't work.

You add invalid lines in your .mdl file and when converting to .mdx you add an unknown group for Wc3.

How about you test it in wc3, it works.

I noticed it doesn't open in magos model editor, though.

It might work for WE, but you should 'compile' your .mdx/.mdl files properly anyways.

Well the models I have tested, worked.

Unless you find otherwise, don't say might, you have really no reason (that I have heard of) to believe that they won't.

Yea, well that helps nobody until you elaborate on what "compiling .mdl properly" means by your definition.

It means that you're able to actually open the file without any invalid .mdl lines.
