Metamorphosis

I have created a new spell involving the metamorphosis of a character. The morphed form was supposed to be the evil illidan. When I tested the spell, it came out as the Demon. I have even tried to make the morphed unit a modified version of evil illidan himself, but it always comes out as that black demon. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, especially if its something obvious. I made sure that there was no "alternate" or "alternateex" animation names/links.

Ok, did you check the

Data - Alternate form unit - Demon Hunter (Demon Form)

I suppose you should change it from DH(DF) to what you want it to be. if you already did, I dont think I can help ya.

heres what you need to do.

create a unit with the appropriate model file , give it 1hp and 1 mana.
dont give it any abilities.

do in the metamorphisis spell and change the form that your unit turns into, to the moodel unit that u made.

then set the added hp. if you want to make it have other effects, such as giving abilities or dmg type change, then you need to modify the model that is being morphed into.

Well, never mind, I already deleted that ability :banghead: ; instead I made it so when the unit dies, it is replaced by the demon, and it works . The model is correct, and there is no problem with it, because the unit with that ability is not player controlled, so I can set it like that, and there are no problems.
