Two years after stepping down as Blizzard's CEO, Mike Morhaime has recently announced he is starting a new game company called Dreamhaven.
“I’m excited to team up with such talented people who care deeply about games and their communities,” said Dreamhaven CEO Mike Morhaime. “I’ve always believed in the power of games to bring people together regardless of backgrounds or boundaries. With Dreamhaven, we look forward to creating and sharing new experiences with players everywhere.”
Dreamhaven is launching with the help of other industry veterans such as Jason Chayes, Chris Sigaty, Dustin Browder, Eric Dodds, and more. The company will host two internal game development studios, Secret Door and Moonshot.
