Minimap pic causing wc3 to crash.

hey, so gruf made me a minimap pic a while back for my map. It was awsom. I imported it to my map, and it worked. I was thriled. However at the botom it said "0.01 beta". Now, (a few months later) I needed 2 change the "0.01beta" to "0.07beta" the current version I'm on, and thx to the new patch, when I tested my map, the pic was blurry. I opened it in 1 of my image editing programs, changed the 1 to a 7 and it looked pretty good I must admit. I import it in my map, changed the right path, tested it out to see what it looked like. And wc3 crashed.
I'm sure it's do with the pic as when I removed it from the map, Wc3 ran fine -_-.

If any1 has an answear to my problem I would very much appreacitate it.

That is probably caused by one of these things:

1. A wrong compression
2. A corrupted image
3. Weird transparency

If you attach the image, I can analyze it and resave it with the right options (I use Gimp btw).

hmm, I guese it was cuase it was in "tga", that it didnt work. btw it was in tga when I loaded it into my map.

Wait, if you'r gonna fix it, why don't you just remove the version number all and all. That way I won't have to open up the pic and constantly change it, and seems I can't even import the new pic into my map with out it making wc3 crash, I'l accutly be able to have a minimap pic.

Ok, I won't put a version number in it. BTW, could you tell me what exactly you want it to be? I mean, the image I made you some time ago was just a random gimp effect with some text. If you want something that is more related to your map (like a screenshot), tell me, and maybe give me a base image.

when you changed the 1 to a 7 you might have created the 7 as an alpha channel / floating image. That sort of thing will crash the game when wc3 tries to load it as a minimap.

Ok Grurf: I'm just thinking the same pic (its so awsom), but put War of the Forgotten in the middle, and it would be great.

and Darg: so realy, you'r telling me I have to re-do the whole image for it to work.

I was making a picture of crushing wave for minmap icon it crashed too it seemed be a corupt file.
