Skills on Mirana :
Elune's Arrow
"Fires an fixed precision arrow".

Leap
"Leaps forward. Useful for dodging arrows"

Beta 07 : Changelog
Khandgar Shield of Magic
-> Reflects spells now, instead of blocking.
-> Elunes Arrow deflects.
-> Blocks Land Mines damage.
-> Slows caster when reflected.
Death effect
-> Uses Starfall model.
Roshan
-> Chases units in 2500 range around spawn point.
Gameplay
-> Gold and lumber bonus for killing others now use new algorithm.
Gold - 50 + (25 * Spree of dying Mirana)

-> Deflects when hits boundary.

~ 150 damage to units in 200 units.

~ Jumping over will trigger it.

~ Does not damage jumping Mirana.

Added Shiva Guard
~ 225 golds.
~ 600 area of damage.
~ 150 damage and slow units for 4 seconds.
~ Can be blocked by Khangar Shield.
~ Does not damage jumping Mirana.

Added Blademail.
~ 200 golds.
~ Return damage when activated.
~ Last for 4 seconds and has 25 seconds cooldown.
~ Does not return damage to Mr.Roshan.

I have a map called PotM wars :p lol. Though it's VERY slow paced. Takes ages to get upgrades and it generally very boring to play.

inspiration for Techies Warz was given to me by the poster of this thread.. XD

Suggestion:
can you make the stun duration have a maximum of 2/3 seconds? for reasons of OP-ness

Awesome, leap is really funny when distance is so loooong on leap.

Anyway, Hmm, I can't see the use of height upgrade for leap. No changes at all even I upgrade the height 50x click. And the poison arrow, orb of poison is not nice looking :/

why dont you create different things for the arrows?

Explosive: After firing the arrow you can remotely explode it for area damage.

Fire: the arrow creates a path of burned ground that damages enemies.

BOunce: allows the arrow to bounce on walls.

Triple: when you shoot an arrow other 2 spawns in random angles between +or-5 degrees.

Heat seeking: The arrow can turn up to 1 degree for every 200 units moved in the direction of the closest target.

Boomer: If the arrow hit no enemy it returns to the postion of the mirana.

Emp arrow: enemies hit by the arrow have some of their mana burned.

VEnom arrow: enemies hit by the arrow can't regenerate hitpoints and are slowed by 15% during 10 seconds.

SOme runes.

TIme: Every mirana and arrow except yours becomes slowed by 50%.
Blades: Nearby miranas takes damage per second.
Bomb: you mirana explodes on death.
angel: becomes invulnerable.
watcher: a eye that scouts random places for you.

why?

U can just add arrows and miranas to a unit group and then check for it when the arrow reaches its target or is fired or leaves the gameplay region...

OFF-TOPI: I can't understand how a guy with more than 2.000 posts and a lot of +rep forget to create a good base for future updates on his maps...
tell me you didn't base your elunes arrow on shockwave.:(

U can just add arrows and miranas to a unit group and then check for it when the arrow reaches its target or is fired or leaves the gameplay region...
Current arrow system is fixed for facing and provides no user-defined periodic callbacks.
The explosive can be done, I just figured it out, by attaching arrow list to caster.

It will be bugged when there are more than 1 arrow are fired.

This requires physics calculations and "hacking" into arrow system.

I have recorded arrow system, it gives more functionality by sacrifying automated movement, collisions...
So, I have to do it by myself now.
Linkin Sphere is being made in process. :)

why dont you change to fire arrows by cliking?

It will only bug if the same mirana shoot 2 arrows, you just have to make it MUI.

to bounce there is no physicas calculation

Hit angle = bouce angle

...../\.....this
..../..\....is
.../....\...the
../......\..same
./........\.angle
/..........\

You just have to move arrows using X and Y instead of a valeu and an angle.

imagine the speed of your arrow is speed_X=500 UPS (500 units up) and speed_Y=-600UPS (600 units down).

when the arrow hits the top or the bottom you do this

set speed_Y = (-1) * speed_Y
when the arrow hits the right or the left you do this
Code:
set speed_X = (-1) * speed_X

mapguy, you have to wait.

you're ideas are cool and all but i think you dont understant the complexity of it all on how to code it effectively and efficiently.

it's not something you 'just' do. there are a lot of things to consider before doing such big systems the map depends on.

Move + Fire arrow, good one.
You underestimated how powerful Jass is, it beyonds MUI.
