Mirror Image Help

Hey

I have a nice idea for a spell, what it would do is every time a certain hero is attacked, there is a percentage a mirror image will run, thus mixing up the hero and creating a mirror image.

I can figure out the creation and randomizing, but how would i create a mirror-image like replica?

Two ways.

There is a spell that creates a copy of target unit.

Make a dummy unit. Super small scale, invisible (no model file) and has locust ability (unselectable).

Upon the random chance, create this dummy unit next to the hero.

Then order the dummy unit to cast the spell on the hero.

The dummy unit would belong to the player who owns the hero, thus giving him control of the copy.

Create a NON HERO ability based on mirror image, with one level. It needs to be non hero so it doesn't interefere with a heros standard abilities. Dont initially give him the ability.

The random chance hits.

Add the ability to the hero using a trigger.

Order the hero to use that ability.

Remove the ability from the hero.
