Mixing Wc3 models with Sc2 - thoughts?

I'm currently in the process of recreating Enfo's team survival. And I have up untill now been using purely Sc2 dependencies and sticking to the Sc2 universe. I now have a bit of a dilemma as I have a few ideas for heroes which fits into the gameplay, but I'm not sure if it would ruin the theme of the map, having a Zealot hero fighting alongside a Lich from Wc3.

Is this something you guys have thought of, and do you think it would be possible (from a theme perspective) to mix sc2 and wc3 heroes into a map with basically no story, other than "Kill the invading forces".

I don't think anyone would really care, there isn't much logic or story behind the game to begin with - just consider it the same way as HOTS

Thank you for the feedback I think you are right.
I might be overthinking what people are thinking of the theme and context of the map.
