How hard is it to model? I wanted some custom models and skins in my map because that would be really slick, but it seems really hard to model, are there like good tutorials on how to do it?

There are some tutorials on alot of sites, try the left bar i think theres some stuff there. Also you can try www.wc3sear.ch and www.wc3campaigns.com but wc3campaigns is mainly just a loaner off wc3search b/c when u click downloads its a link to wc3search but everyone still says wc3campaigns hosts it ANYWAYS... Modeling requires GMax which i think is free, but you also need a few other tools... If you ever used Autocad or Inventor, you will hate modeling b/c they make it such bull****

EDIT: You should try skinning, go to wc3search (above) and click 'tools', find and download GIMP and wc3viewer (its a viewer and converter its pretty nice cuz u can search the MPQ's for models that u can reskin)

GIMP is pretty easy to use but theres a few bugs with it, like for me (not sure about everyone else) whenever i use a filter a MSDos thing pops up talking about failure to load fonts, dont know why but if i close that gimp shuts down, if this happens just minimize it and keep working
