Modem Help

Hi.

I am using a lucent win modem on my hp computer. I have recently installed a v8.27 lucent win modem driver from the windows update site, and noticed problems with my internet connection afterwards. I have found articles that say that v 8.27 disables some lucent win modem features (i think thats what the articles said). What should I do?

You should roll-back to the previous drivers. I assume you were using the Windows default drivers before ?
 
How do I roll-back? I tried to install previous drivers but some error occurs and cancels the installation.
