more probs with servers

im having probs with the servers

hi, umm whenever i try and connect to battle.net, an error message comes up saying im using an invalid server (this is stacraft brood war by the way) and i cant do anything else. is there some way to change the server?

Click on Start then Run
Type "regedit" and click OK
Click on the + icon beside the "HKey_Local_Machine" branch
Click on the + icon beside the "Software" branch
Select the "Battle.net" branch and press the delete key
Click on the + icon beside the "HKey_Current_User" branch
Click on the + icon beside the "Software" branch
Select the "Battle.net" branch and press the delete key


Also go in your Starcraft folder and delete the "bncache.dat" file.

hi um, i did all the stuff you told me (nonamerequired) adn when i log on, it says i have to download a new software upgrande so i do and then it says application will restart and when i get back to the types of connections page, an error pops up saying something like get the new software upgrade but i just did it so im really confused

Try downloading and applying the patch.

Download Starcraft Patch is you only have Starcraft.

Download Brood War Patch if you also own Brood War.(Expansion)
