Mouse wheel !

I own the wonderfully ergonomic Logitech Trackman Marble Wheel Mouse FX. I have the latest mouseware drivers V9.42 but that where my problems now are. I had the mouse installed on a PS/2 port and the scroll wheel worked fine. Hell, it was not even set up as a Logitech mouse. I changed the adaptor and used a USB port and set up the sortware. For the options on the wheel I set it up to autoscroll rather than Webwheel. Now when I play Diablo2 LOD, the wheel no longer scrolls through the assigned skills. It works for everything else as a scroll - my question is this - Why won't it work with Diablo2 LOD and how can I solve it? I think it may have something to do with LODs control options but how do I set them when it wont respond?


I guess the moral is - if it ain't broke - don't fix it !

I ahve the same problem with the MS OptiMouse. When I connected it to the USB port I lost the skills scroll.

Logitech has a reg patch for the wheel for games.. such as D2 and UT and Q3 etc.. it can be found here :
even though its for 95/98 it works with 2K and XP
