Yep, I am.

Edit: Listening to your auditions, Sevion.

I liked them, but I like Davian Thule's and Kullen's the most. I would love to have you get those parts.

#9 did entertain me! I might want you to do that one as well just because of how you did that!

Yeah, I did #6 over and over again, but just couldn't get it right. This was the best one out of the batch I did in 30 seconds :p

I just realized I did #2 and #5 wrong, lmao. But you can't hardly tell.

In #2 I said "We require assistance!"

And in #5, "What's his?"

At first, I was confused at #5, but just thought "Meh, whatever."

It was good. I was going to have the same person play Davian Thule and Kullen Loft play the same guy, and Victor Sawn and Dern Paole play the same guy since Thule and Sawn don't have many lines in this first part.

Edit: Typo, ment to be "What this?" sorry!

Like I said, I might reduce it to 30 minutes, then make a sequel for another 30 minutes.

Edit: MagnaGuard, the voice overs were great. But, the monsters and the Xer'nul were outstanding! I would want you on those roles.

Celtx is what I often use too, depending on where I'm working, lol.
Well I meant descriptions like for example, if someone was a commander with a hard past, you could say his voice should be a bit more cold and hardened (though of course actors bring it to life in their own style).
OMFG. One hour. Sorry, but I don't think I could stay sitting that long ^^
Rofl.
Good luck,

Yeah, Celtx has been very useful. I have decided to completely redo the script to make the movie only 30 minutes, then going to write the sequel, another 30 minutes. This will add a few more days or so for the script to be complete. But the last 2 people who auditioned will hopefully join and Davian/Kullen and Xer'nul/Monsters will be filled. Haven't heard of ToolTip, though I do hope he is working on the terrain for me to see, then that will be a spot filled.

Ill do those :p Just tell me their character description, like if you want xer'nul to be aggresive or passive, etc.

Pm'd you.

Anyway, still looking for voice actors. Also another triggerer for the camera. Going to hopefully finish the script today and then be able to fix some stuff in it.

Real quick update.

The script is about 90% done.

Need still need more people for terraining, triggering, and voices.

One thing about making a long cinematic is, often people will geta bit lazy and theres blah in certain stretches. be careful

Also, what kind of terraining? What theme? Tiles used?

In the filming, I say it is a snowy theme, with the winter/northrend tiles. A lot of mountains and caves.

I have some good news and bad news...

Good news - Script is 100% done and needs some proof reading so I am going to give it to someone to proof read that I can trust.

Bad news - Got a huge test coming up, the OGT (Ohio Graduation Test), which means if I fail it, I can't graduate. So unfortunetly, I am going to stop with production here for a little bit so I can focus on studying for that. Production will continue starting 12/19/09 (December 19, 2009).

I will be checking this thread daily and reading everything, so please still audition for parts. I just won't be working on it since my goal was to finish the rough draft of the script before the OGT.

  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
