Multiboard problem

I wanted to create a different multiboard for each player in my map, but I didn't figure out how to do this. When I create multiboard it's displayed to all players - and I need it only to be be shown to one player.

You have to use either custom scripts, WEU's advanced trigger editor, or Leaderboards. Leaderboards are what I suggest because you can show 1 per player, and its easy to use. But you cant minimize it, and only have 2 colums, and only show integer values in the value field.

Well, I just wanted something like in D&D 3.5 Calim River - there every player has his own character sheet which is a multiboard with lots of stats. I wanted something similar.

Im sure that used WEU, it can show/hide multiboards per player.

Hey, I tried the WEU and it's pretty good, but I didn't find there any option to display multiboard only to 1 player. Is it possible that I need some other software, or maybe the option is there somewhere?

Well... actually it may not have it. Check advanced options though, Im sure it does!

I couldnt find anything like that either. Maybe they used jass?

If you want to use Jass, you can do something like this:

• In triggers, create one multiboard for players and hide them all.
• Add one action that shows the multiboard you are using for player 1.
• Before that action, add this custom script: if GetLocalPlayer() == ConvertedPlayer(1) then
• After that action, add this custom script: endif

Now that multiboard will only show for player 1. Rinse and repeat.

Be careful. Local player shoots you in the foot as often as not (Blizzard's messed that up in Camera - Pan Camera As Necessary, for example).
