Multishot with barrage - fail, please help.

Hello, i was trying to make an electricity tower do multishot, i set everything in the ability right, but when i tested, it only attacks 1 enemy at a time.. I was really dissapointed, because i checked everything 3 times, but still didn't work.

Try resetting the projectile art, and try it again. If it works, the custom model is breaking the ability.

this ability is a pain in the ass, and it has caused me plenty of frustration.
This is how i got it working:
Make sure your unit has it as a normal ability, then change it to a hero ability (and nothing more).

EDIT:
What i mean is changing "Stats - Hero ability: False" to true.

It seems that even though you remove the techtree requirement, the upgrade must still be researched in order for the ability to work. I did this and got it working:
Trigger:
  • Test
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • For each (Integer A) from 1 to (Number of players), do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • Player - Set the current research level of Barrage to 1 for (Player((Integer A)))

ok, so I took a new look at it and managed to fix it this way:

the unit I wanted the ability on only used attack 1, so I enabled attack 2 and set it with ground as allowed targets. It's seems very weird to me, but just check the Siege Engine (barrage) unit the the humans "special" folder and the regular siege engine unit and you will see that difference.

worked great for me.

Not max research level allowed, but current research level (that action is just above the action you used).

The modified ability for the regular siege engine with barrage worked, but when i set everything the same and used multishot on my tower, it just replaced the original attack of the tower :banghead:

I looked through your map and here's what I changed

Result: 3 unit multishot with Attack Type 1

Under Temporary Electricity Tower:
Attack Type 1: Missile
Attack Type 1 Number of Targets Allowed: 3
Attacks: Attack 1 Only

Under Multishot:
Number of Targets Allowed: 3
Projectile: Necropolis/Spirit Tower
Mana Cost: 0

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left.
