I went to power on my computer in the morning and it turned on but the screen was black. I know its not the power supply, I was thinking motherboard or graphics card any ideas?
It's not that, as that wouldn't cause it to not even show the booting screens, that has nothing to do with what OS you're running.maybie your OS has been damaged try plugging in a live CD
cause if that dosent work than A your comp cant boot from CD cause your OS is like NO or your comps busted
Yes, I am. Viruses can not make your monitor not boot up so you can't see it, they can however make your OS not boot. They can't do very much, hardware wise.@ddrtits so your denying that a virus or something could have damaged his computers software related to booting up?
>>it turned on but the screen was black@DDRtist he said it turned on >.>
