My custom buildings wont build

Ya im kinda new to the editor and im making a td and i made a custom unit builder and some custom unit buildins and when i go to the game to build them they only get to a fraction of their help and then they stop im not sure why but i have checked many things and the only thing im unsure about is the text-tooltip-basic where you have to type in something like buildlcfffflc... and thats where im not sure but like i said it starts building then gets like 1/10 of the health and stops.

The same thing happened to me one time, and I think what I decided was that the building that you base your building off of needs to be the same race as the builder your using.

There is probably some way around that, but I don't know it.

to make your custom buildings buil, youneed to modify the "build" ability of whichever build ability you are giving to the unit that you want to build the custom building.

you need to find the value that says which buildings that your ability can build, then you need to add your custom building to it.

if it stillwont build, you need to give the custom building a build time and i believe(not sure) make it cost resources, however small.

this should make your buildding build itself after youve given the command to the unit.
