i was playin one day ,the next i couldn't connect with the update button .i changed nothing that day so the problem dosent seem like its on my end . ive try all that the helper forums have advised still no update servers show up it acts like its connecting (you know with the little pause before the list shows up )but still no servers apear. totally weird one day it works next it doesn't! the only weird thing that happened before my game failure was i was playin on a clan owned server and got into it w an admin i got disconnected(with extreme prejudice)can they "zap" my game somehow?
1.tried reinstalling all
2.deleting all from ea games and registy
3.using disc 2 to boot
4.updating punkbuster(pb web)
5.updating sound and vid drivers
6.deleting temp folders
7.reinstalling modem
8.reinstalling isp program(netscape)
like i said its weird cause i did nothing to my system-playin fine then next day DEAD GAME! ANother thing i noticed about 10 peeps w the same brob when i was perusing the sites for answers(our problems all happened within in one day of each other)
