No, it's a terran multiplayer unit. Currently they think of adding 1 more unit to each race.

It looks like an evolved version of a hellion. Since it's clearly no bio unit, it might be something tier 2ish to assist mech?

thats a terran unit and not zerg? WTF? it looks like something that gives birth to larvae... and has a hard exoskeleton... is it a tamed zerg?

The top one is the terran one and the other one is the zerg one.

thats actually what it looks like but i dont think all its going to be is just an armoured baneling. from the looks of it itll move the same way and has the same leg structure, but that armour doesnt look like itd allow and storage for explosive green goo. sort of reminds me of that bug that rolls up into a defensive ball. although not as creepy as a bug.
i want one instead of a turtle :>

Which just now made me think after posting this... maybe a non-offensive, but a defensive unit that works as a better defense for ur hydras and festers than ling/roach?

it's a bane-ling catapult - can target air/ground, and comes out of the roach warren, and may require a partial burrow/siege mode in order to fire

While the front part clearly looks like a Lurker, that... ehm, "backpack" is more like... a former Siege Tank?

Zerg gameplay are already revolving too much around roach usage, and roaches already got 2 types of upgrades. And take a look at those head and arms, doesn't they remind of Hydralisk ones? Wouldn't it be possible that this is some kind of evolved Hydralisk? Also, this might be some kind of compromise, people want lurkers back but Blizzard doesn't want to use old Brood War units.

To be honest when i play zerg i barely use roaches. They are not cost-effective in my opinion. Lings, Banelings, Mutalisks, Infestors, Broodlords and Ultralisks are more likely to be used by me.
I agree, that it will hardly be a roach evolution since the roaches are already pretty far evolved with high regen, move while burrowed and the speed upgrade. Hydras are rarely used in pro-level games and might get a boost therefor.
But i would really like some more early game anti-air. (yes, there are queens but you wont ever use them to attack.)

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
