Need Help! Characters..gone!

Hi.. I got Diablo II LoD (expension) a couple of days ago, Ive been playing on battle.net Fine for the first 2 days, then to my surprise tonight, I was playing with my lv43 Amazon, I came to switch guys buy clicking 'quit' then POOF!
All I had was..my Amazon!!! -.-;
I had 5 more guys and theyre all gone..! All of them were mules, With all my uniques from my other account.....
Anyhow,i visited the Help page here, and I did email Blizzard for my chars restore,but they never seem to do so! Please help me!

Aight Forest,

Now your not the only one whos suffering from this. Pretty much everyones chars got deleted mule or not. My hc, lvl 31 lord, 3 mules all went. Everyone has the same story.Here are my possible theroys....
1.Blizz needed space
2.Bug
3.Hackers attacked
if anything, I bet they'll all be back up soon enough.
