need help importing

ok, i need help with two imports how do you import skins and how do you import music. Like i can get it in import manager but it doesn't show up in the sound editor i think it has to do with the import "type" right now it's type is other but i think there might be like a sound and music type but how can you switvh types the only thing i see is how to make your own custom pathing im trying to import some music on my playlist (WinRip).

Importing sound:

This should be fairly straightforward. Warcraft supports wav and mp3 (anything else will not be recognized as sound) and after you have imported the sound, it shows up in the sound manager in the imported folder. Then you can click it and choose use as sound and/or use as music.

Do you mean sound editor i imported wav music but it's not showing in the sound editor...

remove the sound that u imported... go to sound editor:
-Files.
-Import Sound.
it will show in Imported Sounds. add to play in map.
go to trigger and play music\sound:
for you edit the skins u need photoshop, warcraft 3 viewer.

1. Never import music as wav, it will make your map far too big. Convert it to mp3 and import that instead.
2. It won't show up as a sound, but in the file list at the left side of the screen, in the map Imported. You've got to right-click it there and make it a sound.

Why, its the exact same thing as the import manager. It will show up if you import it in the import manager, as it will in the sound editor.

It won't show up if the file is not WAV or MP3.
