[Need Spell Ideas] Warlock Spells

I'm making a D&D-esque warlock for my AoS map, and I'd like him to utilize spells a bit different than the vanilla Curse/DoT/Summoning themes that are so common with Warcraft warlocks. Anyway, this guy is an old, frail, and slow half-demon orc, and he's pretty squishy, but his power lies in his nuking spells!

I gave him a chaos orc model and Chain Lightning, Forked Lightning, and Finger of Death, all with the red lightning, but looking at him now, he's just sooooo boring with his vanilla spells... :(

Here's his bio, just so you get an idea about his personality:

"A tanarruk warlock, Zamrah has seen more years than there are stars in the night sky. Infernal pacts and demonic sacrifices can only get one so far, and, as far as Zamrah is concerned, the true path to godhood and ultimate power lies in constant struggle. For this reason alone Zamrah has agreed to aid the polite drow emissaries who came to his fortress unbidden and unwelcome (instead of simply killing them on the spot as he does to all others who dare enter his lands uninvited).

Although frail due to his advanced age, Zamrah is a true master of the infernal, and a warlock who's fiendish powers have claimed the lives of countless heroes. Murdering enemies with concentrated blasts of eldritch energy and splitting their burning corpses in twain with hellacious dreadbolts, Zamrah's years of study and practice have bestowed upon him a demonic spellcasting alacrity most mages can only dream of. Those that dare challenge him suffer the worst fate of all, dying in the throes of unspeakable agony as Zamrah snuffs out their life force with a Finger of Death, his scarred visage twisted in a mocking parody of innocence..."

You could have a summon-esque spell that basically targets a unit and stores its current position. The warlock gets a new button, which when clicks moves the unit back to that point. It can be cast on self, allies and enemies.
If you want it to be with different levels, maybe add a duration to how long the place remains stored before it fades OR before the unit is automatically returned (first thing sounds better imo), or the range to which the unit can be portaled, after which they will only move back a certain range > range will increase with level.
Or simply mana cost. :D

some random spell ideas.

seal of chaos - target enemy
curses the target causing him to take damage per second until the cursed unit deals an specific amount of damage or until 10 seconds have passed.
level 1 - deals 20 damage per second until the target deals 100 damage.
level 2 - deals 30 damage per second until the target deals 200 damage.
level 3 - deals 40 damage per second until the target deals 300 damage.
level 4 - deals 50 damage per second until the target deals 400 damage.

hands of inferno - target area
summons devil hands at targeted region creating a prison, if an enemy tries to enter or leaves the infernal prison it is knocked back and takes damage.
level 1 - deals 50 knockback damage, lasts 4 seconds.
level 2 - deals 75 knockback damage, lasts 4.3 seconds.
level 3 - deals 100 knockback damage, lasts 4.6 seconds.
level 4 - deals 125 knockback damage, lasts 5 seconds.

fel summon - no target
summons a fel hound to help the warlock, both are then linked by a powerful magic which transfers 10% of the fel beast's health to the warlock per second. the link breakes if distance becomes greater than 1000.
level 1 - fel beast has 400HP, 40 attack damage, 10% life steal.
level 2 - fel beast has 500HP, 50 attack damage, 13% life steal.
level 3 - fel beast has 600HP, 60 attack damage, 16% life steal.
level 4 - fel beast has 700HP, 70 attack damage, 20% life steal.

dark power - target ally
increases the attack speed and movement speed of target ally based on how much life is missing on him. lasts 10 seconds.
level 1 - 5% AS and 1% MS for every 10% life missing.
level 2 - 7% AS and 2% MS for every 10% life missing.
level 3 - 9% AS and 2% MS for every 10% life missing.
level 4 - 11% AS and 3% MS for every 10% life missing.

fatal link - target enemy
links the warlock to an enemy causing 50% of the damage taken by the warlock to be prevented and then reflected back to the enemy.
level 1 - Lasts 5 seconds.
level 2 - Lasts 6 seconds.
level 3 - Lasts 7 seconds.
level 4 - Lasts 8 seconds.

bolt of death - target enemy
hurls an ancient magic at the enemy dealing great damage and reducing target's physical and magical resistance by 40%. lasts 6 seconds.
level 1 - deals 175 damage.
level 2 - deals 225 damage.
level 3 - deals 275 damage.
level 4 - deals 325 damage.

Death circle - creates a circle around an area, all damage done to the warlock is reduced by 50% and dealt to every unit inside the circle, lasts x seconds with y range and z aoe

Two ideas:

Shadow Strike - The Warlock engulfs himself in dark energy, propelling himself toward a target point. The energy increases as he moves, and once he arrives at the target location, he releases the energy upon his foes, dealing damage and slowing all enemies within a 250 AOE. Damage dealt is relative to the distance traveled. 1000 maximum distance. Any units caught in his path also receive minor damage.

Level 1: 12% of distance dealt in damage, 10% slowed AS and MS for 3 seconds
Level 2: 18% of distance dealt in damage, 15% slowed AS and MS for 3 seconds
Level 3: 24% of distance dealt in damage, 20% slowed AS and MS for 3 seconds
etc.

Or something like that...

Cry of the Damned - The Warlock channels for several seconds to call upon the spirits of all enemies he has slain to rise to the physical world. Once he stops channeling, the spirits let loose a demonic cry, causing all living enemies within range of the Warlock to attack each other for a short duration. The Warlock cannot summon more spirits than the number of enemies he has killed. Once a spirit has been summoned, it cannot be summoned again. If the Warlock dies, the number of slain enemies is reset to 0.
Channeled, may be interrupted at any time

Duration for all levels equal to half the number of spirits summoned.

Level 1: 1 spirit summoned per second of channel, 500 AOE
Level 2: 2 spirits summoned per second of channel, 600 AOE
Level 3: 3 spirits summoned per second of channel, 700 AOE
etc.

This may need some tweaking, I just made it up on the spot.

Obviously any suggested spells can be tweaked as needed.

Lol i just realized my spell looks very much the same as mapguys, i wasnt copyin you xD

If you think it might be OP just remove the damage reduction and tweak the % of the damage dealt

Rain of Meteor:
Calls from skies meteors to crush enemies.Each meteor 25 damage
1: 2 waves, 3 meteors each wave, meteor damage area 125
2: 3 waves, 3 meteors each wave, meteor damage area 150
3: 3 waves, 4 meteors each wave, meteor damage area 175
4: 4 waves, 4 meteors each wave, meteor damage area 200

Healing Poison:
Targets a unit and casts on it a shield that if the target is enemy the shield will deal damage to unit and heal allies around him, or if it casted on ally it will heal him and damage enemies around him.
1: Lasts 3 seconds, 40 damage, effect radius 200.
2: Lasts 3 seconds, 55 damage, effect radius 220.
3: Lasts 4 seconds, 70 damage, effect radius 240.
4: Lasts 4 seconds, 85 damage, effect radius 260.

Snake Minion:
Warlock creates a snake that attacks target enemy for an mount of attacks.
(snake has warlocks/2 hp and has max speed[522] and is magic immune when theres is no chance to hit it dies, attacks every second)
1: 50 damage per strike, 20% chance to strike an additional hit
2: 50 damage per strike, 25% chance to strike an additional hit
3: 60 damage per strike, 30% chance to strike an additional hit
4: 60 damage per strike, 35% chance to strike an additional hit

Grade UP!:
Warlock rises the power grade of his spells.
1:Meteor:5% chance (per meteor) to stun enemy for 0.1 sec
5% chance to spawn a minion with 200 hp, 15 damage, maxspeed, 1 sec attack delay, and 10 sec life
Healing poison:+0.4 sec last, +20 effect radius
Snake:+20% ms slow to attacks, +3% chance to strike

2:Meteor:10% chance (per meteor) to stun enemy for 0.2 sec
10% chance to spawn a minion with 300 hp, 20 damage, maxspeed, 0.75 sec attack delay, and 12.5 sec life
Healing poison:+0.7 sec last, +30 effect radius
Snake:+25% ms slow to attacks, +4% chance to strike

3:Meteor:15% chance (per meteor) to stun enemy for 0.3 sec
15% chance to spawn a minion with 400 hp, 25 damage, maxspeed, 0.5 sec attack delay, and 15 sec life
Healing poison:+1 sec last, +40 effect radius
Snake:+30% ms slow to attacks, +5% chance to strike

Shadow wrath.
The Warlock deals a blast of shadow damage. Dealing xxx-xxxx damage randomly. Also it has a percentage to damage the enemy or him/herself.

Mind follow.
Control his enemy for 5 seconds. If the enemy lost x % of his total health, his body exploded and damage nearby enemies. If it's not, the enemy will be stronger for certain seconds.

No Escape
When a unit under this buff attemps to run away from the Warlock, it's stopped. After the stop, it becomes faster, to escape. But, when runned ten seconds, deals damage.

Level 1: "Stopped" for 1.5 seconds. Deals 50 damage.
Level 2: "Stopped" for 2.5 seconds. Deals 100 damage.
Level 3: "Stopped" for 5 seconds. Deals 200 damage.

some more spells

words of chaos - channeling, no target
the warlock says words never heard before and causes panic on all nearby enemies, as long the warlock continues to speak nearby enemies will lose 5% their maximum health and mana per second and wont be able to attack or use spells.
level 1 - lasts 3 seconds, 400 AOE.
level 2 - lasts 3.0 seconds, 450 AOE.
level 3 - lasts 4 seconds, 500 AOE.
level 4 - lasts 4.5 seconds, 550 AOE.

circle of death - target area
creates a circle of black magic at target area. If an enemy tryes to enter or leave the circle it takes damage and is knocked back. 600 AOE.
level 1 - lasts 3 seconds. 25 knockback damage.
level 2 - lasts 4 seconds. 35 knockback damage.
level 3 - lasts 4 seconds. 45 knockback damage.
level 4 - lasts 5 seconds. 55 knockback damage.

torture - target enemy.
causes the target to fell 20% of the pain all units nearby to him fells.
level 1 - lasts 5 seconds.
level 2 - lasts 6 seconds.
level 3 - lasts 7 seconds.
level 4 - lasts 8 seconds.
I use this spell for my paladin.
