Tutorials from this or other sites dont show straight what I need or providing missinformation wich in result I recive gray ball in exchange for unit I wanted.

I need to create specyfic Carrier and have some troubles with that.
1. Want him to can target and attack four diffrent targets or start attack one target from four weapons wich need to be four hangars with interceptors. Where is value wich wil allow this unit to targeting multiple targets?
2. I found values for interceptor hangar, launch, life/shield and fireing but there is no amount of how many interceptors can be in one hangar or how many damage they dealt.
3. Want him to attack in move without stop like Diamondback or Phoenix.
4. Change his size.
5. Grands him manual activated abillity to shoot energy beam to the ground. Beam like this from Void Ray but with multiple stages of gaining in power. Want it to not targeting units but just shooting into ground and burning everything it tought.

Right, heres my responses.

For your first issue, it can be done, its kinda like the Uberlisk blizzard made months ago. I dont know how to do this, so someone else will have to enlighten you.

For your second issue, heres what you have to do.
To change the damage of the interceptors, go to the Interceptor unit, go to the "Interceptor - Pulse Cannon (Damage)" Effect on the left-side menu, and go to "Combat - Damage" on the right-side menu. Change the number (default is 5) to whatever you want.
To get more interceptors inside the carrier, go to the Data Editor, and on the Data Type dropdown menu, select Requirements. Search for "Arm Interceptor", select the ability, and on the right-side menu, select "+Requirements". Go to the "Constant 8" and change the value on the right. (So if you put in 30, the carrier can now load up to 30 interceptors.)

For the Third issue, im not too sure if this is possible, as ive replicated the Phoenix's weapon for the Carrier. The problem is, the Carrier launches the interceptors which deal the damage. If the Carrier did the damage itself, it would be easy.

For the Fourth issue, go to the Carrier unit, on the left-side menu, go to the Carrier under "Models". On the right-side menu, change the Scale minimum and Scale maximum to the size you want it to be. (The default for this is 0.8. If you changed it to 1.6, then the Carrier would double in size.)

For your "Void Ray Ability", create an ability (This is just a Dummy ability), that targets a point. Set up the cooldowns, tooltip etc etc. Now create a dummy unit (i.e its an invisible, undetectable, unselectable unit, no model etc etc, but make it attackable). Now, go to the trigger editor, and make it so when the ability is used, the dummy unit you created will spawn on the point of where the ability is being cast. Add the Void Ray Prismatic Beam weapon to the Carrier, and order it to attack the dummy unit. During this time, every X seconds, you damage all units around the dummy unit for X amount of damage, over X period of time. When the ability is finished, remove the weapon from the Carrier, and remove the dummy unit.

I've answered all i can, hopefully others can help :D

If I was at home I would look into it, but setting the size of how many intercepters the carrier can hold is most likely a requirement, which doesn't show a link on the unit itself, but if you look in the requirements and search either interceptor or carrier it will probably have something.

I had to do this with a hatchery last night. There is a variable limiting the hatchery to 3 larva that the hatchery spawn(Queens give off a differen't requirement). All I had to do was change the constant of the complete larva unit to my desired value and it work just fine.

I'll look when I get home and see what I find with the carrier, but I would think it would be the same.

Maybe there is need do copy Launch Interceptors Ability but dunno how achive it.

Carrier can attack while moving after release ships. Maybe Interceptors need stationary before lauching?

Found it but I created own Carrier based on Carrier mode and want to resize onli this model but not the oryginal Carrier.

For your "Void Ray Ability", create an ability
Dunno how to do that. Can u show me tutorial?

6. Cant find Interceptors build time nad want them to be producet four at once.
7. Also want to add own version of Interceptors to this specyfic Carrier. Already create them but dunno how to switch.
8. Since Interceptor isnt that type of unit like in SC I cant select him or etc. Dunno it is small ship or massive like Carrier itself? Does it shield regenerate during battle, does he be repaired when damage like in SC?
9. How add bonus damage for armored units to Interceptor?
10. There is secondary mele attack for Roach wich is only used in mele combat. How to allowc Carrier unleach one type of Interceptors on light units and second type on armored?

Found it but I created own Carrier based on Carrier mode and want to resize onli this model but not the oryginal Carrier.
Go to the Data Editor, and click on the Models data type. Duplicate the Carrier Model, and tick the Actor box.
Now, go to the new Actor you made, and go to the top part of the right-side menu. Have it link to your Carrier Unit.

Now, go to the model of this Carrier unit, and change the scale. It should change the size of this carrier unit, but not the other one if done correctly.


To change the interceptors amount built at once, go to your Carrier unit, and on the left-side menu under Abilities, go to the "Carrier - Hanger". On the right-side menu, double click the +Info part, and double click the "Ammo 01, Build Interceptor, Interceptor" part. Scroll down until you find the box under "Info - Count" (NOT Info - Count start, this determines how many interceptors you start with.) Change the number to how many you want built at once.
To change the unit that is being built, scroll down further to "Info - Unit", and change to the unit you want.

I think you can change the actor scale size by going into the actor and select the art tab

I don't know for sure, but I bet he regens shields like the rest of the protoss, which is 10 seconds after battle, you can check/change just click on the unit then find the stats section their should be regen,health,shields, ect.. in that section of the unit.

9. How add bonus damage for armored units to Interceptor?That would be under the "Interceptor - Pulse Cannon (Damage)" effect in the combat section their is a place to put bonus damage vs certain types.

I don't know this for a fact, but I would propabably assume what they did for the roach was make a minimum range on his attack so when a unit was within melee range he could no longer shoot with that weapon, and they gave him a melee weapon that couldn't shoot out past the range weapons minimum attack range. Say a unit has one attack with a max range of 5 and a min range of 2 and another attack with a Max range of 1 and a min range of 0. When ever a enemy unit crosses between range 2 and 1 the attacking unit switches which weapon to use... Now you might be able to make it so that the weapon can only attack a certain type of unit, this might get you where you want, but idk I haven't tried that yet.

Next issues. I already change what I want to build in hangar but need to change what allready is in. Also interceptors became gray balls instead of a model.
Also dunno how set ammount of resources. I allready set player and race but window for number of resources didnt show.
Mayby can I send my map to someone who chceck my Carrier and tell me what I did wrong?
