New Worker Type Won't Build

I made a map that has high elf workers in it, and I edited them so that they could build a high elf barracks. The only problem is that when you build a barracks, the foundation appears but the worker does not work on it. How can it be fixed so that the building can be completed?

Does the worker run up to the building? If so, he's building it but the model you used doesn't have a build property meaning he won't hammer at the building like he's building it. Also, check the building's properties and the worker's properties and it might be a bug in there. Could you maybe send a screen shot of the building's properties and the workers properties so I can see what the problem is? It's most likely a compatibility bug of some sort.

The worker runs up to the building and there is no animation. The building's little constructing... bar does not fill at all nomatter how long I wait.

Could you maybe sign up and send me the worker unit and the building? It's probably a property you messed up but I can't post every little thing your supposed to put for units and buildings.

I should probably know the answer to this one, since people have asked this question since WC3 came out in 2002. I think it has something to do with the building not being of the same race as the worker.

It might also have something to do with the worker not having the "Repair" ability, check that he has it.
