its noobish but how do i change the terrian plateletts like i want a desert tileset. will i have to create it?

You may need to make your own desert though, just fool around with it all a bit.

Use a custom Tileset

Start with one thats dirt or barren. If you want sand, swap some out for the sand tiles in the 'Sunkin Ruins' tileset.

also how do i make like water like a lake or river or somin without decreases the cliff to shallow water

I saw a good tutorial on this somewhere but i forget now..

You cant make water with "using" the cliff, but you can make the clifff go away

use the 1 water down cliff and make an area.. then use the ramp to smooth out the edges, easiest way to understand this is to make a box of water and use the ramp on it.. you will get what i mean.
