probably not the best way of modeling (using primitives first and then moving around and weilding verticies) but its the only way I know how without having to research.

Nice job.

And that is a technique that I used also when I tried out GMax. With Milkshape, you can easily just plot the vertices to form your model.

It looks like some strange Mechanic... What is it :p

Here's a samp of the model with textures. It uses in-game textures so it should be very easy to view with magos. Its still a WIP. texture mapping is so time consuming. My GIMP is messed up so I have to download another one. Can't get any screenies till later.

nice job!!

i know how hard it is to limit poly's especialy when trying to maintain detail. Looks great so far, cant wait to see some screen shots of the monster with a nice skin.

Dont know if its exactly a "Nice" skin but best I can do with in-game textures.

It's activation is probably like GMax I assume, so you just open 3DsMax and enter the code probably... o_O

If I couldn't get 3DsMax to work, I would be furious. It costs 3000$ unless you get it illegally. :p

Anywho, the texture looks weird because it uses ingame textures.

What I think is that when you call a huge monster, with somekind of a hard hitting ball on the arm, "The Beast" it whould have a monsterish face.
Not some cute bear..:nuts:
But nice work with The Sand Worm and The Beast though, very cool! :)
(sorry i couldn't give you an example of how the face should look like IMO :/ )

That cute bear is the furblog texture. Whats a better one that would suit it? I don't know, the furblog color of brown fits right with the sasquach texture that I used for the body.

Ugh, bad skin wrap, but nice model anyways.
Haha, just wait until I add particle emitters on it, then it'll be nice.
