Nice teacher? or smooth sailing?

My pre-ap literature teacher goes on and on everyday about "preparing" us for AP courses. well she gives us probly 4 pages of home work a night, and tells us it's all do the next day but...
it never is. always she forgets to check it or does she just do this for some type of odd and cruel "preperation"? or is this the way AP classes are?

in my ap english class i had it 6th period, did all my homework during 5th period, and wrote all the essays between either 1am-3am or 8am-1pm (during school).

3 on the ap - B in the class. English is my worst subject. a B.

Although you could get away with not doing your homework...what is it they say? You're only hurting yourself by doing so.

Not really. I find a lot of homework was only there to keep people busy. Homework doesn't teach, it only tries to hammer home through repetition. If you aren't figuring something out, homework likely won't help, you need time with the teacher.

well all my ap classes test are 70% of our grades, and i always ace those so it seems like dialy work is a waste of time

Then your school is like messed lol.
Our daily work is 70 or 75% of our grades.

the dailt work is 20 percent out grade, tests 70, and quizes 10, yet the teacher gives out soooo much daily work, never checks it then gives us a test, if oyur good at test taking liek me its easy, but if your not its impossible to pass

That is one messed up grading structure.

In the UK we got 'Coursework' it's like a huge piece of homework thats worth 20-25% of your grade, and the test is the rest 80-85%. daily work has nothing to do with it.
