No attack to allies ?

how do i make that allies cant attack each other like in DOTA ?

hmm.. i haven't played DOTA for a long time.. but try and click on Player Properties and then make a new Force.. and make them allied with eachother..

i dont know what it's like in DOTA...

i mean, in DOTA when you try to attack your allies with letter "A" u just stop, u dont hit him..

This is what i did...dunno if it even works but try it...

Event: A unit is issued an order

Condition: None

Actions: If Then Else
IF: Targeted Unit is an enemy of owner of issued unit
Then: Do Nothing
Else: Order issued unit to (stop)

As a bonus feature after the initial trigger...

Wait - 2 seconds

Game - Display to (All player matching ((Owner of (Attacking unit)) equal to (matching player ))) the text: Don't attack your allies!

Looks weird but it works.

Well you can use boolean to find out if player is allied/enemy of player, or use player and just have (Owner of (Attacked unit) is an ally of Owner of (Attacking unit).

And Jimpy, if they use AceHarts code its pretty obvious you cant attack allies. If you wanted a note like Jimpy said use a floating text when you attack, say like No friendly fire or something (If you have guns, lol)

As for is it one? There's a group... stored nowhere... so, lost... poor group. Yep.

Actually, display to "Group (Owner of (Unit))" looks sorta easier to read too than, well, the "thing" up here ;)

Yeh everything but All Players leaks a Player Group. Removed with call removeforce( udg_yourforcevariable ). All players doesn't leak because it references to bg_allplayers or something

I know its obvious but if you're dumb enough to attack your allies/ally you're probably too dumb to realize theres atrigger preventing you from attacking.

I've seen people say stuff like "Omg my guy cant hit you! this games retarded" and leave.

Also the chance of them wanting to attack someone is probably some arguement over who is more manly and better at bnet. :p

Some abilities have a "target unit of ability being cast".
There is no generic "someone wants to kill me" event.



On a slightly related note, instead of showing (floating) text, why not play the "L05Detheroc37.mp3" sound?
