non auto-cast faerie fire

is there any way to make a faerie fire without auto-cast and have it look and work properly?

Trigger an ability so when its cast a dummy cast faerie fire on target :thup:

base the ability off of acid bomb? that reduces armor and you can change the icon to make it look identical. ALso you can set the other side effects like attack reduction to 0

or just use normal fairie fire ..register the seton-autocast events and order the unit to stop autocasting ...
