North-Azeroth Tileset

As I said, I'm making a LoaP game called "Life in Azeroth".

Err… How much is North-Azeroth -just under the frontier of Khaz Modan- under the equador? Is it supposed to look like the barren tileset, the Ashenvale tileset, or the Lordaeron Summer tileset? Or perhaps a mixture of the Ashenvale and Lordaeron Tileset?

Also, which dragon roost fits best in Azeroth? The "Green Dragon Roost", the "Bronze Dragon Roost", or the "Red Dragon Roost"?

if you look in the war3 manual, I think it might have a map of the world.

Azeroth is more a barren place, lordaeron is greener. So bronze for azeroth.

Great.

The tileset of my level, which is already half complete now, looks more like a mixture of Lordaeron and Ashenvale.

Even an ingenious irrigation system would certainly not suffice to turn Dranndarm - that's how I call the town wherein you play the game - into a town with a green environment.

Besides, I made a trigger in my level that makes it rain, which is also unrealistic, considering the geography.

Hmm… The fact that Dranndarm is relatively near the equador doesn't mean that the local climate is acrid.
But nonetheless, fir-trees can't grow in a region with warm climate.

What must I do now?
Move the location of Dranndarm to north Khaz Modan and change the story, perhaps?

The story right now is:
"Your character in this game is a fugitive from Lordaeron. You desperatly fled from the undead to Azeroth when Lordaeron fell. After a long, dangerous voyage, you arrived in Dranndarm, a town near the coast.

Dranndarm is near the frontier of Khaz Modan, and the invasion of Khaz Modan was only a matter of weeks. Seeing that they were hopelessly outnumbered, the dwarves fled to north-Azeroth to unite with mankind.
Unlikely, Azeroth's forces will be able to keep the undead out of Dranndarm much longer…"

Perhaps I could change this to:
"Your character in this game is a fugitive from Lordaeron. Like many fellow fugitives, you desperatly fled from the undead to Khaz Modan when Lordaeron fell. After a long, dangerous voyage, you arrived in Dranndarm, a town near the coast.

Dranndarm is near the frontier of Lordaeron, and Lordaeron's last men have already fallen. Seeing that they were hopelessly outnumbered, the majority of the surviving humans and elves fled to Khaz Modan to unite with the dwarves.
Unlikely, Khaz Modan's forces will be able to keep the undead out of Dranndarm much longer…"

Any suggestions, opinions or confirmations to this idea?

Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

Weekend went by too fast. Next weekend I am going to try to do a nature thing - buddy of mine lives by the Colorado river and has some kayaks and invited me to do some kayaking from a place he knows to get on the river.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    That sounds like an adventure.
  • The Helper The Helper:
400 users all online all looking at latest content
  • The Helper The Helper:
I wonder how all these bots that sit on the lastest content page get passed anubis or maybe they did not but they are just registering on whos online
  • The Helper The Helper:
showing up on whos online not registration
  • Ghan Ghan:
The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.
  • Ghan Ghan:
That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I remember the whole javascript thing, question - how many real people disable that?
  • The Helper The Helper:
Hell I guess I could go back on the stats to know that - we probably capture that and we know the before and after
  • Ghan Ghan:
Real users can't really disable Javascript anymore these days.
  • Ghan Ghan:
The internet is broken without it.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Bot readable, not human usable.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    got it
  • The Helper The Helper:
    Happy Thursday!
