Open Source NUON Emulator the only one out there needs serious help. I hear it runs Tempest 3K and I guess that is all you need for NUON but if you want to take the rabbit hole it is here

Download Nuance for free. An uneducated try to resurrect and modernize the Nuance NUON emulator. Unfortunately the author of the original project (Mike Perry) passed away a long time ago, but it seems like nobody picked up this piece of history and so there is no NUON emulator to be found...

win 10 sees this as a threat and will not run it

Can you run it in Windows 98 mode? Usually you get that in the properties of the shortcut on the desktop but I am not sure in Windows 10. That should make Windows 10 emulate Windows 98 but if NUANCE is writing to temp areas that Windows 10 has restricted it is possible the emulator needs to be rebuilt to be Windows 10 compliant. Alternatively, you could emulate Windows 7 and run it under that or even go back to whatever OS you want. Virtual Machines.

tried it, compatability wiull only let me take it back to xp, and no matter what, my antivirus kills it

Hi! Let me quickly introduce myself before i start with my actual topic: I fell in love with Tempest back in the Jaguar days, and am still a fan til today (along with all other Llamasoft spinoffs that were released over the years, i even did my own variant in 96k some years ago...
