The extension cable (http://www.nuon-dome.com/hard_extension.html) does exist as I've got two I think, but not sure if they were ever available via retail. IIRC I got mine from an ex-VM Labs employee after they filed for chapter 11.

Another long term Jag fan here (which is why I knew of the Nuon - following Minter's blog back in the Project X / Mario Killer days ). I have almost all of the official releases and some rare ones like the 2 original release Air Cars, 2 Battlespheres, 1 BSG (all 3 bought at initial release, so sanely priced), Gorf CD, and a Skunk Board.

Not sure if its because i never played any Gorf ports before, but i think its the reason i royally suck at this game...

My rarest Jaguar piece would probably be the Telegames US, Atari Jaguar Flashcart with Towers II Beta on it (along with Telegames documentation on it).

Man, i spent a fortune on my Jaguar collection...

Awesome! I don't mind Aircars that much (had a sealed ICD version that i sole regrettably a few years ago) - got a '94 release for Gaz, and probably looking to get multiple KA version to LAN at future events. Just need more network adapters... (DAMN! Wish i didn't sell my spares!)

I gave my aircars 94 to Gaz to make his release ,if you look at your cartridge you can see my names over it (i'm Marco Pasquali). Peter of Telegame uk give it to me,i'm the owner of Brain Fusion shop in italy and i have bought many items from Telegames in the last 20 years so Peter give it to me this rare cartridge and i give it to the jaguar comunity to dump it for free so many peole can enjoy this rare version of a rare game!

Ah, YES! Now i remember! Well thank you for doing that! I always like to see and compare the differences between different releases. Unfortunately, in the time i have played both Towers II games, there is very little noticeable difference between the two versions. I had a special project in mind for this when i bought it but time and resources were not on my side. I have picked up the project as of the beginning of this year and hope to see it finished by the end of the year.

Nice collection of players mate! I see you have multiples of some - do you collect with anything specific in mind? Personally I have 2 versions (N-501 & SD-2300) and am looking to get one of each model to take around all the Aussie gaming events for show and play

My collection is just grab it when I see it for a good deal. Because I spend my year between opposite sides of the country I have duplicated for just about everything I have. Anything out side a duplicate is only because I picked up the extra's at a good price

Ah, yep, i know the feeling (from when i used to live between my place and my girlfriends: 1.5 hrs away). My first NUON cost me over $200 shipped (expensive for the time because it came bundled with TNT and all was CIB). I later picked up my 2nd NUON - N501 for only... $15 BIN on eBay! That was advertised as a DVD player only so i lucked out. But yes, you got to love a bargain!

Hey, I'm from Mountain View, California. Former VM Labs engineer.

I used to have a bunch of relatively unique NUON stuff, but I sold most of it on eBay a while back. I still have a few items, including my old dev unit. I really should get rid of that since there is almost zero chance I'll get around to working on it again.
