will try to bump the threads in the forums i posted in tonight, don't wanna do it to much and them think I am a spammer
if I win, there is a good chance at controllers being much cheaper.. I have 3 logitech controllers and I would trade one for this one. I know I won't get my money back on making the dongles for my friends adapter so this would kinda make up for money lost to make controllers cheaper. The controller should go to somebody who can make more controllers. Then we'll all have one

plus to know the full analog range the controller outputs is needed too just in case the logitech even without the outer case can't reach as far as the nuon is capable.
sure. is it used?.. i ask cause if it's new I will trade you my one logitech that is still sealed. If you want to do a trade I have another controller I am willing to do that with. I am just trying to get controllers out there it does not matter which one it is.
the one midnight got is a warrior or the one you would trade me.... cause I don't see a point in needing a warrior, I wanted a HPI stealth for the analog to analyze the data and be sure of the full range of the analog output.I have not used the controller it was not in packaging when I got it that I remember. If the NUANCE guy used it it was minimal. Midnite got one of the the controllers I got from the NUANCE guy and would be the best judge. It is a blue Warrior.
Hey I just found this thread, and im so glad i did to find a passion group like this. So I bought a toshiba nuon 2300 in 2018 and i had bought ballistic not knowing its only for the samsung so i had sold that a while back. Recently I just purchase Iron soldier 3, but I have yet to Find a controller that is reasonable in price. If i were to be chosen I live in the Philadelphia area and once I were to play iron soldier I would be back on the threads to find somebody with the capabilities to create more controllers for everyone( I saw in the threads a couple of people live in philadelphia area). Number 1 thing I can't stand are scalpers, because they ruin for people like in this forum who just want to enjoy our cool little dvd console.
I just thought I would throw my name in last second. Even if i don't get picked i just wanted to say hello to the community! happy I found this
no problem! Im glad i found community. I found this forum from atariage yesterday. is it best to communicate through here or over on that forum?
I would like it so I can have it for testing to try and make controller access for nuon easier to get.
I have a friend that makes this controller adapter that lives close to me called the Bliss-Box https://bliss-box.net/
I helped him with a problem he had at first and made an "unofficial" firmware hack for it, it's not needed anymore now as he has bought the extra usb id's he needed.
this was the site I ran with my "unofficial" fix https://atarigalore.wixsite.com/4play
he is working on a new product that allows one end to plug to consoles (so far snes, genesis, psx, ps2, and a few more, 3do coming soon) and the other you use any and all controllers his adapter supports. I'm going to bring my nuon over to him with controllers for him to analyze and add support.....
if all goes well I'm gonna see about maybe paying him to have the dongles needed for his adapter to plug to the nuon controller ports mass produced, otherwise it would have to be a home made dongle made by anyone wanting it...... he only usually has dongles that a lot of people request made as it's not the cheapest thing to do in quantities where cost per piece would be worth it.
So if it works out I will just get a small amount per dongle he would sell, I probably wouldn't get all my money back but it will be one of the only ways to make the nuon more accessable to more people.
I am a tester for him and have one of the original beta units.
this could open up much cheaper analog controllers for nuon by using ps2, or n64 controllers for instance.
That's my understanding. Currently Nick Persijn is working with him to produce the rev2 Yak Twister boards though there hasn't been an update since December. Hopefully we hear from Lee soon. In the grand scheme of things though, I think FPGA would be the best option long-term (not that I'm capable of doing that). Something was done similarly in the Wonderswan community to get around the special Bandai 200x chip.very cool! Do you have a source for the proprietary polyface chip that all Nuon controllers (or adapters) need to communicate with the Nuon player? It was my understanding that only one guy has the VM Labs backstock of those chips
