NUON Doom source updates

Hi, everyone,

It's been a long time since I posted (since the move from the last forums), but I recently came across the Doom improvements I had made a couple years back. I don't recall if Kevin ever put them on N-D, so here they are. Just download the existing source, overlay these files on top, and voila! Or just burn the NUON.cd file if you prefer.

It's great to hear that there is someone still breathing "some" life into the NUON!! When you said improvements, what kind of improvements are you referring to?

Well, the problem is I don't remember what all I did, because the old forums are gone and it's been about 2 years since I compared my source to the original. I know I fixed the weapon select so you can easily cycle through the weapons. I also moved the WAD file to a new location with the near-maximum RAM available; basically, I made it easier to use other WADs with this code.

I don't remember if I did any other gameplay changes. I encourage you to build it and check it out for yourself!

I think you fixed up some of the control issues - we posted the file to the forums but I don't think I ever got it up on N-D. I'll have to look through the news archives and see if I ever wrote anything up on it.

I absolutely do not know WTF I was trying to say here... I think that I was saying take over the Code for Doom that is on the NUON-Dome but I think Songbird has the latest version. I certainly was not talking about taking over NUON-Dome the website that is Kevs site I just host and admin the forum.
