NWN Problem

Alright so i just installed Never Winter Nights and the 2 expansions an i read the back of it before i bought it and my computer meets the requirerments for it so i bought it and installed it. but when i try to play it even when it is just on the main screen where you pick new game or load game and stuff it LAGS INSANE and the colour is alll messed up but the mouse cursor dosent lag it is fine i can move it around the screen fast and everything but usually when a game lags the mouse cursor lags too :nuts: someone help me pls
